Assessments

The School Test Coordinators (STC) serves as the point of contact between the Office of Assessments and the schools. The STC is responsible for ensuring that all procedures required for assessments are implemented within the school and for maintaining the security of test materials.

The Office of Assessment coordinates district-wide administration of the following assessments:

• Virginia Growth Assessments (VGA)
• Standards of Learning (SOL)
• Virginia Alternate Assessment Program (VAAP 2.0)
• Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT)
• Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT3)
• WIDA ACCESS for English Language Learners (ELLs)
