Health and Physical Education

WELCOME TO PHYSICAL EDUCATION, LIONS!

At Long Branch, the physical education program is one in which students are introduced to a wide range of skill themes and movement concepts (we are building a foundation). Each class is comprised of health, nutrition, and skill-related fitness activities. A learning environment that focuses on respect (respect for self, respect for others and respect for their learning space) which ensures the opportunity for all students to be successful in our classroom.The goal of our physical education program is for ALL students to appreciate and participate in physical activities their entire lifetime.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PE:

  • Water bottle BOTTLE
  • Comfy clothing
  • Safe and comfortable athletic shoes (NO CROCS, FLIP FLOPS, BOOTS, ETC)
  • Injury or Illness – PLEASE communicate with the P.E. staff via email, note, or phone call
